Breathwork

Welcome Goddess

The art of directing and controlling your breath is both ancient and scientifically proven to boost health and well-being. Breathwork activates a part of our nervous system called the vagus nerve, which in turn stimulates relaxation throughout our body.

Note: Breathwork is not recommended for people with cardiovascular issues, high blood pressure, or seizure disorders, or who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or recovering from recent surgery. People with respiratory issues should discontinue if they experience discomfort. Breathwork can surface intense feelings and strong physical and emotional releases. If you are currently navigating complex traumas, please speak with your health care provider before practicing.

Nothing is more fundamental to life than our breath.

BREATHWORK

Breathwork

Welcome Goddess

Practiced for thousands of years, Circle of Bliss (Ananda Mandala in Sanskrit) is a group meditation that invites you to sit in a circle, holding hands, while engaging in rhythmic breath work and chakra visualizations. This practice is extremely efficient in clearing stuck emotions and blockages, and activating our kundalini energy – the feminine life force stored at the base of the spine. As the meditation moves through the chakra system, you may experience a range of emotions and reactions, including crying, laughing, shaking, and visions. The end result? Get ready to experience an otherworldly sense of bliss and overall feeling of wholeness.

Note: Circle of Bliss is not recommended for people with cardiovascular issues, high blood pressure, or seizure disorders, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding. People with respiratory issues should discontinue if they experience discomfort. Breathwork can surface intense feelings and strong physical and emotional releases. If you are currently navigating complex traumas, please speak with your health care provider before practicing.

This powerful meditation technique is considered life-changing.

Breathwork
  • We welcome all levels at all classes and workshops, and no previous experience is required.

The one exception is our Sensual Flow movement class. To join this class, you must have completed our three-week Sensual Flow Essentials course, or have a history of dancing at S Factor or Sensually Embodied in Boulder.

  • Sometimes.

Welcome Goddess is a sacred space for anyone who identifies as a woman. For select classes and workshops, we invite all gender identities – including men – to join us. Search the class schedule using the “All Genders” tag to find which classes men may attend.

  • We are proud to offer dedicated programming for girls ages 12-17. The rest of our offerings are open to those 18 and older. While we love children, please do not bring younger children to Welcome Goddess unless it is for a brief period of time and they are not left unattended. (Or a special event specifically allows for younger children.) This is a space for women to recenter and recharge, and that can be difficult with children present.
