Women's Circles

Whether preparing food, sharing stories, celebrating our cycles and those of nature, honoring our ancestors, or asking for and imparting wisdom, sitting in a safe circle has always been a special way to connect and receive support.

Welcome Goddess brings this potent practice to our community with a variety of different circles.

Each circle is unique and may include a combination of meditation, movement, music-making, ritual, and journaling. A time to connect inward as well as with each other in a deeper way, every circle features candid, honest sharing and conversation.

Women have gathered in sacred circles for millennia.

  • Caves are mystical spaces in the natural world. Caves are where our ancestors found safety in a harsh world. Women in particular retreated into caves to bleed and birth, and to perform sacred, even secret rituals. In many traditions, caves were seen as portals to another dimension. Caves today remain home to many of the most ancient and intoxicating paintings of early goddess worship. Many have referred to the cave as “the womb of the earth.”

At Welcome Goddess, we see our studios as sacred spaces for safety and transformation, and we want to honor them with a unique designation. Caves are also dimly lit – just like many of our classes!

  • Our second entrance is wheelchair accessible, as are our two studios and main bathroom.

For people with visual or hearing impairments, please contact us to discuss how we can help accommodate your visit to Welcome Goddess.

Our "Wild Feminine" Book Club Just Wrapped Up!
